How easy it is to install Coronasense?

We recommend that or technical team should install the device at your premises. If you do not wish to have it installed by us, the terminal arrives in a cardboard box and is ready to go! Our technical support is ready to help you 24/7. To access the measurement database enter your login and password window when you first enter the web interface. It can be accessed from any device.

How to use Coronasense?

The terminal is mainly placed at the entrance of a building / concert area / conference room / airport arrivals and departures / public or private offices. The main screen invites people to measure their temperature.

- The visitor approaches the terminal. Range sensors detect the person. The terminal can recognize the person with its contactless badge if he has one.
- The measurement instruction is presented on the screen.
- An audio signal ensure a proper measuring position of the user.
- Coronasense measures several points of body temperature. The process takes around one seconds. The optimal result is determined by the terminal.
- The result is presented on the screen with a color code (green = OK, red = wrong).

How does Coronasense inform about high temperature?

There are four types of notifications:

- Sound notification. An audio signal accompanies the measurement.
- Visual notification. The result is displayed on the screen with different color schemes depending on the result: green means normal temperature, red means high temperature.
- Software notification. Several types of notifications are available and can be used: an email notification, an SMS notification, a CRM notification or a machine-machine HTTP notification.
- Hardware notification. A dry contact can be activated in order to restrain types of access.

Why Coronasense and not a handheld "gun" thermometer?

Contactless thermometers measure temperature in one single spot, the one where the sensor is directed. A lot of mistakes occur as a result of that: different parts of the face have different temperature, and sometimes the person with the thermometer can measure temperature incorrectly: with constant foot traffic it is easy to accidentally point the thermometer to an eyebrow, temple or other part of the face.

A maximum body temperature can be measured in the spot between the eyes at the top of a nasal bridge. Lacrimal canals that are located in that area are protected from outside temperature. Coronasense measures up 10 points of a person’s face. The temperature of a person entering the building can be measured at the highest precision ― this is something that remote thermometers cannot provide.

There are three major advantages Coronasense has compared to these types of thermometers:

Coronasense is faster. It takes 5 seconds to screen one person ― which means no lines will be formed at the entrance.
A person does not participate in the process. This removes any chances of cross-contamination with coronavirus, as well as ensures savings on staff expenses.
Coronasense is more precise. The algorithm ensures there are no mistakes due to the human factor, and the measurement accuracy itself is 0.2°C.

Does Coronasense have long term usage ?

Absolutely. Temperature measurement has started to be part of our daily life and it has become a new safety standard ― next to metal detectors and surveillance cameras.

Is Coronasense certified?

Coronasense is certified to comply with the ASSTM standard section 5.4 (Designation: E1965-98/2009)) - Standard Specification for Infrared Thermometers for Intermittent Determination of Patient Temperature. Coronasense components are certified CE (ETSI EN 300, ETSI EN 301), RoHS (IEC62321:2008), and FCC (CFR 15.247).
